Job Requirements
· Sell Ethan Allen home furnishings, decorative accessories and window treatments in store, or in home.
· Assist clients with fabric selection and other design elements (floor plans, color coordination, soft good customization, etc.).
· Process orders and paperwork in a timely and organized manner.
· Problem solve with customer service.
· Follow up with clients regarding purchases/orders/deliveries.
· Constant communication with clients regarding order status, etc.
· Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally, focusing on teamwork.
Required Skills
· High school diploma / GED with a minimum of five (5) years practical interior design experience in lieu of a college degree OR Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field from an accredited institution preferred with a minimum of one (1) year of practical interior design experience.
· Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
· Working knowledge of online sales and design tools.
· Good listening skills with excellent oral and written communication skills also required.
· General understanding of how to utilize Social Media and grass-roots marketing to develop a book of business.
· Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for people
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to develop long term customer relationships
· Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
· Must be able to work some nights, holidays & weekends
