Clinical Research Nurse

Client's Research Department is seeking a Research Nurse will be responsible for the implementation and management of assigned clinical research protocols. Will support industry funded studies and PI initiated studies.

Job Duties Include:

• Research nurse will review study protocols, obtain input from PIs and other research leadership, review study material, source documentation and various study data and forms, and educate team on the processes and policies (include and exclusion criteria), and documentation process.
• Candidate will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment and marketing of trials internals within the hospital and to other local service provides when appropriate.
• Will also be responsible for the patient consenting process discussing the benefits and possible risks of various studies, scheduling patient screening and coordinating lab work when required, enrolling patient into various studies and scheduling the various follow ups. Documentations of all study related data and reporting documents for Sponsors (Industry, PIs and IRB).

Candidate Requirements Include:

• Minimum of Associates of Nursing Degree
• Experience working on the floor
• Experience with EMR systems
