Machine Operator

There are multiple levels of a CNC Operator, based on the contractor's experience and skill level. Overall, the responsibilities of a CNC operator include running machines, making off set changes, loading parts, and cleaning machines at the end of their shift. They will utilize various hand tools such as micrometers, depth micrometer, dial indicator, and calipers. These will be the extent of the level 1 operator responsibilities.

Additional responsibilities based on operator levels include:

Level 2:
- Operates Standard Machines (Mills, Mikron, Vertical Broach, Horizontal Broach, Spline Roll)
- Properly performs the "Machine Start Up Sequence" consistently and safely
- Operates Multiple Standard Machines Simultaneously
