Production Planner - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

• Responsible for all aspects of material planning and scheduling production orders to support customer deliver requirements
• Ability to improve scheduling tools and systems to keep manufacturing and customer service representatives updated on lead times, material availability, and deliver schedules
• Plan and schedule work orders to meet customer requirements for delivery
• Support manufacturing departments in their effort to meet production schedules
• Support sales and customer services to provide necessary information needed to respond to customer request for quotation and delivery information
• Schedule shop production orders and purchase orders to meet required dates while minimizing inventory, reducing wastes, and optimizing manufacturing capacities
• Expedite production orders and purchase orders as needed and communicate delivery problems immediately to the appropriate personnel within the organization

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates Degree in Business or equivalent desired
• AICS certification is desired
• Requires a minimum of two years experience in electronic, communication, or manufacturing environment performing manufacturing planning functions
