Position Description & Job Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Director actively supports and promotes the "Open Door Policy" ensuring an avenue for all voices to be heard.  Operational focus will include working with all team members in order to be the difference to each other and our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the administration of all duties relative to the Human Resources Discipline including but not limited to: social benefit and recognition programs, budgeting, forecasting, recruiting, wage and salary as well as benefit administration, job evaluations, coaching & discipline, employee relations and the creation and implementation of formalized training programs. This position ensures that internal marketing and communication programs are current and effective providing employees with the information necessary to do their best work possible. 

Additionally, this role is required to monitor Workers Compensation programs and oversee the preparation of reports required by government agencies as well as training and advising management relative to federal, state and local labor law compliance. 

  

Formal Education and Job Related Requirements

Candidate would be required to have five years of Human Resources Management experience in a comparable hotel/resort, luxury preferred.  In addition, we would like the candidate to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a related field.  Must possess effective written and verbal communications skills.  Bi-lingual preferred.

Job-Related Physical Requirements

This position requires the employee to engage in Frequent Sitting, Fine Motor Skills, Eye/Hand Coordination, Near Vision, Far Vision, and Hearing. Further, the position requires Occasional Standing and Walking.

The position involves the following Environmental Factors:  Working Inside, Working Alone, and Working Closely with Others.
