Job Description:

The Planning Manager plans and drives transformational initiatives relating to one or more lines of business within the Care enterprise. This position is accountable for rolling out changes across the RP organization that may relate to forecasting, schedule optimization, Ops KPI structure and creation and various lines of business within Customer Care. Will deliver strong analysis that supports how to align RP with Care structure. Partnering & communication cross functionally is essential for success. This person lead program planning from concept phase through completion.  

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
  • Develop strategies  to support new business direction and dynamics relating to one or more lines of business within RP
  • Conduct moderate to complex data analysis and forecast modeling relating to one or more specific line of business; staffing models will predict long-term staffing needs, at least 18 months into the future; build business cases with supporting data analysis and present cases to leadership, presenting analytical findings typically up to the Director level and sometimes to the VP level 
  • Serve as a communication hub within RP and with Care operations teams; provide regular updates to line of business leaders, getting their feedback, buy-in and approval
  • Lead or coordinate with cross functional teams across Care on the entire project lifecycle from concept initiation through execution to ensure a successful implementation and adoption
  • Partner daily with Local and National Resource Planning teams on plan structure to drive change
  • May build or make recommendations concerning KPI's and productivity metrics
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • At least 3 years of statistical modeling and analytics experience
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting, statistical modeling, and complex analytics
  • Executive level presentation and communications skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerPivot skills
  • Experience with SQL, Teradata, R, and eWFM
Education:
  • Associates Degree Quantitative
  • Bachelor's Degree Business
  • Total of 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of education


Minimum Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States. High School Diploma or GED. Pre-employment background screen.
