DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • EDUCATION
    • BA/BS in marketing, business administration, communications or related field.
    • MBA a strong plus
  • EXPERIENCE
    • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, account/vendor management, promotions and/or creative production.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:          

  • DISH is looking for an experienced marketing professional to join the dynamic Marketing Execution team. This individual will manage both customer acquisition and customer upsell campaigns, executing approved media plans, tracking planned budgets against actual spending, and managing creative executions/trafficking advertising materials to media vendors.
  • Candidate will also review reporting and analytical data which will help determine future campaigns.  The right candidate will take ownership of direct response marketing execution by collaborating on campaigns across multiple tactics to maximize new customer acquisition and upsell efforts. They will partner with team members of marketing strategy, analytics, and customer insights teams to continually test new offers, creative, messaging and manage project workflows.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with business partners in aligning objectives and strategy across the organization and executing tactics designed to acquire new customers and drive existing customer sales.
    • Create recommendations on program and production changes and gain senior leadership alignment.
    • Make presentations to senior management highlighting key learnings.
    • Serve as liaison with marketing leadership and foster and develop relationships with key strategic and operational vendors, as well as other internal teams.
    • Provide innovative solutions by evaluating emerging technologies and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Duties include managing various media plans which may include Television, Print, Direct Mail, Display and Email to ensure that ad placement and billing proceed smoothly.
    • Lead outside vendors to ensure marketing efforts are properly supported and deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate multiple plans including price negotiations, manage critical timetables and maintain schedules across various channels.
    • Manage reports and tracking results, to identify opportunities to optimize future campaigns.
    • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition 
  • Assist the team and/or agencies with special projects and tasks as requested - no two weeks will be alike in this role, which will always keep it interesting!
