Job Description :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Working safely is first and foremost.
* Prepares material for painting.
* Responsible for accurate and efficient application of coatings.
* Hooks up and positions material before and after painting.
* Removes completed material from the work area.
* Maintains safe storage of paints, coatings, thinner and cleaning solutions.
* Meets safety and good housekeeping standards.
* Handles hazardous waste.
* Responsible for wet mil checks during coating process.
* Responsible for performing Dry Film Thickness (DFT) checks and recording to proper documents.
* Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of paint equipment
* Responsible for safe operation of material handling equipment (hoists).
* Responsible for completing timesheet accurately at the end of each day.
* Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.
* Supervisory responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
