Workforce Operational Analyst

 

The Workforce Operations Analyst will be responsible for providing key financial and operational support to the Workforce Management leadership team.  This role will work closely with the VP of Workforce Management and other associates to identify and deliver key insights to make a discernible operational difference with accurate and insightful data analysis.  This position will use a variety of software tools to create, edit, and analyze complex reports, graphs, and presentations.  The Workforce Operations Analyst takes ownership of projects to completion by effectively coordinating all the necessary resources.  They are able to resolve complex, non-routine problems and issues where no precedent has been established or exists with limited supervision.

 

Responsibilities

  • Operational analysis, including collecting and analyzing data to generate recommendations for process improvements to key business leaders
  • Supports the monthly financial reporting process by running reports of actual results and analyze spend vs forecasts.  Provide details to support future forecasts.  Run requested reports in support of annual budget-setting and business planning processes.
  • Maintain financial and operational scorecards
  • Complete ad-hoc projects based on business partner or client requests.
  • Develops and delivers presentations to internal business partners as necessary.  Partners with other functions to ensure all users understand and are able to interpret data
  • Develops analytical tools; i.e. Excel reports, tracking spreadsheets, capacity planning spreadsheets; to support operational efficiency 

Qualifications

  • (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience                         
  • Field of Study/Area of Experience:  Preferred experience in finance, accounting or operations
  • 2-4 years of experience in an Analytical Position
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Advanced MS Excel, including pivot table creation, advanced formulas, vlookup function
  • Alteryx software experience (Preferred)
  • Must be a self-starter, able to prioritize effectively, work independently or as part of a project team to complete multiple tasks concurrently
  • Independently take ownership of projects to completion by effectively coordinating all the necessary resources
  • Be able to make sound decisions and the ability to take initiative and accountability for the accuracy of information
