Sr Director Business Development

 

We are currently looking for a Sr. Director of Business Development.  This qualified candidate will be responsible for establishing, managing and overseeing strategic solution selling (contracts ranging from $200k-$1M+ annually) and will have a depth of experience in digital paid search, product ads, programmatic/display resulting in high annual deal solution selling.

 

Responsibilities

  • Models a strategic approach to solutions selling and positions the company’s solutions, professional sales skills, and overall effectiveness as best in class.
  • Targets clients from Adlucent’s sister agencies and works with agency representatives to open doors and provide leads into their customer base.   
  • Identifies and prioritizes the value of new verticals and the penetrability within the new industry
  • Drives our business development strategy including mapping the landscape, prioritizing potential clients, linking to company goals and objectives.
  • Works closely with the Client Services, Dev, and Sales internal teams to evaluate gaps and market opportunities, and to identify and engage with potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and Product Listing Ads (PLA) experience as well as other digital marketing channels with a track record of building long-term relationships
  • 10+ years of strategic business operations, strategy, corporate development, and/or general sales management experience.
  • Prior work experience and working knowledge in the digital industry, ideally with deep understanding of particular verticals their respective key market dynamics.
  • High impact communication skills (written and verbal) with distinction in driving discussions with senior executives and across sister agencies.
