Advantage Solutions is looking for a detailed and results-driven Divisional Controller to join the corporate team at our Irvine headquarters.  The Divisional Controller is responsible for accounting, budgeting and financial reporting for an assigned division, office or market.  The ideal candidate will ensure the application of accounting principles and practices, demonstrating excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.  The ideal candidate will have experience with full cycle accounting experience combined with exceptional financial analysis skills within organizations that have a minimum of $100 million in revenue. Responsibilities:

• Reviews and posts monthly journal entries for fulfillment and collateral services division.
• Completes year-end closing and assists in directing annual physical inventory observation.
• Generates and distributes detailed financial statements to management on a monthly basis in accordance with GAAP.
• Researches and responds to income statement inquiries as needed with complete explanations and supporting schedules.
• Assists with ERP post-implementation tasks and problem resolution as needed.
• Prepares rolling forecast and bridge explanations for variances from prior forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Provides financial analysis for Operations monthly and/or as requested.
• Supervise and direct the work of approximately 2 accounting staff. 

Qualifications:

• (Required): Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Inventory management and cost of sales reporting experience.
• 8+ years of experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, and payroll.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Public accounting experience or prior employment with public or medium to large audited companies
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred. 
• Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, Vlookups and strong keyboard commands
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers
