Your writing is more focused.   You’re equally balanced between quantity and quality.   And you still work with the supervisors to tighten up to the best messages.   Your primary responsibility is copy, but now you will be asked to add value to shopper marketing campaigns and higher level communications.  You work hand-in-hand with art directors and together as a team synergize art and copy into communication pieces.   And you know how to pivot communications fluidly between channels to create creative-in-context

 

You are an IN Marketing Copywriter.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand the differences between audiences and how to talk to them in each of your brand’s voices
  • Collaborate with art directors and writers all day long. You know that a great message can drive a visual, and you also know a great visual can be written to
  • Fully understand the difference in “voices” for brands. You are beginning to think strategically about shopper marketing, design, and advertising communications
  • Developing conceptual skills and can assist with presentation decks and the storytelling of ideas/conceptual work
  • Creating written communications that effectively communicate and sell the developed marketing concepts both internally and externally
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop ideas into program executions
  • Manage and organized multiple projects on a daily basis
  • Build strong internal relationships with Field Marketing, Account Services, and Production Department teams
  • Participate in new business efforts 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in an ad agency or marketing firm required. Emphasis on shopper marketing campaigns a huge plus
  • Good understanding of formal writing, the marketplace, and discipline language
  • Strong concepting and ideation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to change and later according to changes in projects or business environment
  • Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically
