You’re a rock.   You have evolved into a creative presence within a team.  Senior creatives rely on you to autonomously run the day-to-day of a client’s creative needs.   You can balance multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables without losing your cool.  You partner with your account and project management counterparts to help manage clients and workloads.   You have a good handle on daily deliverables and can mentor/give solid direction to junior creatives.  You are a strong visual ideator, and it’s not about making a “cool design,” but an effective communication piece.

 

You are an IN Marketing Senior Art Director.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for concept generation, layout, design, and photo selection for assigned pieces.
  • Work on a wide variety of projects for in-store activation including (but not limited to) POS, direct mail, FSI and web layouts
  • Participate in project meetings with creative, account, production and concepting team
  • Utilize available design software to manage project files from layout to print-ready
  • Help manage creative team to meet job objectives within production and time constraints
  • Meet deadlines, expectations and satisfactory completion on jobs assigned by Creative Director or Leader
  • Work within program budgets, identify revenue opportunities and cost-savings while maintaining client relationships 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio of professional creative work
  • 3-5 years marketing or advertising agency experience required, exposure to shopper marketing campaigns preferred
  • Good interpersonal skills – people like and want to work with you
  • Great working knowledge of good design and concepts
  • Can recognize when good design is well communicated – knows when digital design will make for a good or poor user experience
  • Problem solver in the day to day management of client deliverables and expectations
  • Constantly on the hunt for competitive understanding, in-market executions, and delivers implications to the team
  • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically – and lead others in doing so
  • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Efficiently utilize MAC computers and current fluency in relevant computer programs such as: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Acrobat, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Entourage)
