Commissions Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Coldwell Banker Legacy is a full-service real estate firm that maintains offices across New Mexico and Texas providing Residential, Relocation, and Property Management real estate services. Coldwell Banker Legacy is seeking a well-qualified candidate for the position of Commissions Associate.

Requirements of the Candidate:

• Candidate must have the ability to operate in a dynamic environment

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounting and Payroll related field

• Demonstrated ability to perform multi-tiered commission calculations

• Must demonstrate attention to detail, possess good judgment showing logical decision making

• Possess a hands-on attitude with the ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions

• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple deadlines and priorities

• Ability to work independently, as well as in a group setting

• Strong organizational skills to accommodate high volume levels, multiple tasks and exception tracking

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to serve the customer

• Knowledge of separate accounting operations (A/P, A/R, Payroll) with awareness to the importance of strong communication between the interrelated functions

• 10-Key by touch

• Computer literate with Excel knowledge and flexibility to operate within multiple software programs

• Knowledgeable in accounting for real estate transactions a plus

• Familiarity with Great Plains and real estate software desirable

  Responsibilities Include:

• Daily receipt, calculation and preparation of real estate agent commission checks

• Ongoing interaction and correspondence with outlying agent offices, as well as direct contact with real estate agents

• Full understanding of commission calculations, with flexibility to handle multiple variables and exceptions

• Tracking of non-agent related commissions/bonuses

• Daily preparation and distribution of Pending and Closed real estate transactions

• Transaction processing and data entry with extreme accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness

• Daily processing of bank deposits into various systems

• Daily deposit reconciliation for multiple offices across NM and TX

• Special projects as assigned
