Medical Billing Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

$15-20 Commensurate with experience Responsibilities: - Process payments from insurance companies and patients and balance everyday batch posting. - Answer billing questions from patients, medical offices, and insurance companies. - Review patient preference sheets and input charges accordingly, review for charge accuracy, and generate detailed bill. - Verify accuracy of insurance information, 1CD9 and CPT coding. - Highly accurate & efficient data entry. - Maintain billing report, providing a copy daily to Manager. - Manage accounts receivable and collections as assigned. - Correct and resubmit rejected claims. - Maintain and provide a positive work environment. - Telephone communication both internally
