Contract position: A utility holding company serving more than 3.3 million electric customers and 1.8 million natural gas customers is looking for a GIS Technician in the Denver, CO area. This is a 6-month CONTRACT position. No per diem available. Responsibilities for the GIS Technician• Performs edits on gas, electric and landbase facility information within Enterprise GIS. Data updates performed utilizing GE Smallworld GIS software and SAP work and asset management software, following QA/QC processes to ensure data integrity for advanced downstream applications. Focusing on general data integrity and GIS maintenance work in order to improve data accuracy and reliability.
