Job Description:
Design of fabricated assemblies in Solidworks
Design of sheet metal parts
Review and keep engineering documentation
Request Engineering change orders (ECO)
Design of product with weldments
Use draft sight (AutoCAD equivalent), not needed AutoCAD needed
* Strong understanding of ASME drafting standards
* Proficient with SolidWorks - Sheet metal & weldments
* ACAD and/or Draftsight experience
* Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing required
* Solid understanding of Configuration Management & Document Control
* Experience working in an ISO 9001:2008 with design environment
* Organized individual, capable of handling a heavy workload with minimal supervision
* Good oral and written communication skills; Must be able to read, write & understand English
* Team player
* Work with tight schedules to complete designs of product within 4-6 weeks
* Stable, reliable, low absenteeism record and willing to work overtime
* Aerospace background helpful
