Responsible for managing employees, specifically BOH and catering staff. Customer relations. Responsible for inventory, production, ordering and receipt. Assists BOH during peak hours of operation. Responsible for start up of equipment and processes (open shift). Responsible for shut down and closing store (close shift). Manages cash flow. Makes deposits. Responsible for administration including reports as required. Responsible for cost control (P&L), specifically food and labor in the BOH. Attends or Runs employee meetings. Responsible for safety and sanitation audits by the Health Department and CBC’s independent food safety company.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for managing employees, specifically BOH staff and catering.
• Responsible for customer relations.

Secondary Functions:
• Assist with FOH setup or breakdown
• FOH - Serving, Bussing, making specialty coffee beverages
• Clean-up, safety and sanitation especially for the BOH
• Perform duties of shift supervisor and manager as specified by the GM
• Assist with other stores as needed

Requirements

Job Requirements
PHYSICAL demands/REQUIREMENTS:
1. Average hours per week: 50 - 60

2. Shift: All - hours may vary by location
* Open/Mid/Close
* Open = 5am - 3pm
* Mid = 8am - 6pm
* Close = 12pm - 10pm

3. License or Certificate required:
* Must have a valid driver license and provide proof of insurance.
* Must complete and possess Safe Serve Certification.
* Must have food service certificate where required by local ordinance.

4. Experience or Training required:
* Must have previous experience as a Manager.
* Must complete CBC Supervisor training (4 to 6 weeks) depending upon experience.
* Must be computer literate.
* Must have minimum 1-year experience as a Shift Supervisor with CBC or 2-years previous restaurant manager experience.
