DESCRIPTION
Bridge design, inspection, and maintenance is a core strength of Michael Baker International. We have an established presence with work throughout Pennsylvania for a variety of clients including PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, as well as local Counties and Townships. The Bridge Engineer will be provided the opportunity to join a talented group of individuals to help deliver some of the Region’s most important projects.
· Serve as the Structures Task Lead on local highway and bridge projects
· Provide direction to junior level staff and guide a project from design through completion
· Help to grow our local bridge inspection capabilities
· Become part of a larger bridge group network throughout Michael Baker that will open up various pathways for professional and career growth
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
· P.E. registration in Pennsylvania
· 4-6 years of related experience.
· Familiarity with PennDOT project processes and standards
· PennDOT Bridge Inspection Certification is preferred
· MicroStation experience is preferred
