Well established, upscale, fine dining restaurant seeking Line Cook
• Culinary degree or related restaurant experience is preferred
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Able to work every station in the kitchen including saute, grill, pantry and prep
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, mostly afternoons and evenings, including weekends and holidays.
This is a perfect opportunity for the right person and could lead to promotion as Sous Chef.
REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 1 year of high-volume restaurant experience
• Must have current food handler’s card and other certifications required by federal/state/local law.
• Strong listening skills, strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, team player.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate operational information.
• Food/restaurant service skills – all phases of food production and service including storage, rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, service and production time adherence.
