STAR of CA uses Applied Behavior Analytic interventions to address developmental delays and challenging behaviors in toddlers, children, and adolescents with Autism Spectrum and Related Disorders. We provide home, school, and community based services, and create collaborative partnerships focused on building in support for our families through a Positive Behavior Support framework. What sets us apart in the field, is the expertise that we have in the most current naturalistic ABA practices, with doctoral researchers and clinicians who bring the integration of Pivotal Response Treatment into our programs. We use an eclectic approach and have the expertise to draw from a variety of ABA methodologies to develop individualized behavioral programs, from early intervention to focused behavior reduction programs to meet the needs of the clients we serve.

STAR of CA is looking for Clinical Supervisors to oversee the development and implementation of ABA programs for children with Autism Spectrum and Related Disorders.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and developmental assessments for a variety of age, need, and developmental levels
  • Goal writing and development
  • Oversight, supervision and training of registered behavior technicians (RBTs)
  • Progress report writing
  • Delivering parent education
  • Fluency with or high aptitude for learning data management technology preferred
  • School district consultation and staff training
  • Leading team meetings and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Attending IEPs and home-school collaboration facilitation

Additional Requirements
:
  • Non-BCBA applicants must be enrolled in BACB coursework and pursuing SPE
  • Minimum of BCaBA required
  • 1 year supervising ABA programs
