Bradford Tavern Rowley is seeking an eager and organized Head Chef. Bradford Tavern is a family run restaurant in a historic barn setting. We are looking highly qualified candidates to help with the success of this family run restaurant. Resumes will be assessed over the next few weeks. Please attach resume.

Primary responsibilities include: •Managing all culinary aspects of the back-of-house for the main dining room as well as functions

  • Ensuring strict quality controls are in place and adhered to, scrutinizing all aspects of the kitchen •Maintaining proper restaurant cleanliness •Hiring, training and developing hourly back of house staff
  • Scheduling staff to meet operational needs while staying within labor budget •Providing discipline as needed
  • Ensuring food safety and sanitation systems are in place to meet all local, state and federal requirements •Creation of daily specials and keep up with the demands of a primarily scratch kitchen
  • Execution of onsite function parties

Requirements: •2-5 years experience as Chef or Sous Chef in a full service restaurant (table service with full bar) with a minimum sales volume of $1 million •Demonstrated ability to meet food and labor budgets •Strong team leadership capabilities and communication skills •Excellent organizational and time management skills •Must be food safety certified or willing to become certified •Associates degree or Bachelors degree in culinary arts preferred
