About this job
We are looking for a skilled accounts payable clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. This individual will be responsible for Accounts payable for 3-4 branches. Must be able to key in check runs, do some accounting and costing along with spread sheet work in Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day management of all payment cycle activities and provide efficient client service
- Keep track, process and reconcile payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, checks, refund requisitions etc, in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices/receipts
- Liaise with internal and external clients
- Regularly tabulate data and compile necessary reports
- Continuously improve payment processes
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Evaluation Hire
PAY RANGE: $12/hr
SCHEDULE: M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
