Insurance Verification Specialist

• Obtain insurance authorizations for all required exams and document approvals.
• Obtain information on the patient's eligibility status with the insurance company to ensure proper coverage and payment for services.
• Work closely with insurance providers and referring physician's staff to obtain patient history to expedite processing.
• Utilize telephone and website solutions to obtain information on patient's eligibility status with insurance companies.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into medical records system.
• May cross-train and help in other departments as needed.
• Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Salary: $12.00 to $18.00 /hour
