About this job

Established firm seeks an experienced Field Manager.

Location: Time will be split between the NYC and Long Island Offices. Must be willing to commute to Nassau & Suffolk County at least two times a week.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Providing on-site coordination for all phases of projects, including coordinating manpower, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed.

-Manage day to day field operations

-Conduct Surveys, Perform Field Measurements, and Prepare estimates for new opportunities.

-Manage Field Crews Schedule manpower ensure timely project completion

-Conduct interviews and hire field installation staff, inclusive of coordination with Union Business Agents and VP of Field Operations to fulfill ensure qualified manpower on project assignments.

-Communicate with project team regarding project job / work orders, installation schedules and project deployment.

-Proactively Identify conflicts, and determine resolution, communicate and deploy with field technicians and project team(s).

-Perform management duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously, inclusive of visiting installations, monitoring project activities, and ensuring on time and on budget performance.

-Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being installed

-Coordinate with project team to ensure that job / work orders are completed

-Attend job site meetings as required; Maintain LGC Performance Standards with customer service and successful project deployment.

Job Requirements

-Experience in Architectural Metal & Glass Required

-Experience running Exterior Window Modification, and Architectural Metal & Glass Projects Required

-10 years Minimum Experience as a Project Manager and/or Superintendent

-Understand and conduct oneself with a greater understanding of the importance of customer service

-Leadership Skills a +

-Must be proficient with Computers Mac / Windows

-Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
