Truck Driver CDL B
This company is HUGE on safety and offers health, vision, dental, and life insurance- along with vacation time! If you're looking for a CDL B job that offers the opportunity to make local deliveries with rare overnight deliveries, you may have found your place!
Responsibilities:
*The loading of trucks and making deliveries.
*Always know your load and inspect your truck before moving it.
*Verify that the load is complete per the paperwork.
*Arrive early before departure allowing time for pre trip inspection checking all fluid levels, tires, brakes and other safety equipment on the truck.
*At the job-site, demonstrate a sincere desire to cooperate with the customer.
*Make sure you have done everything possible to help the customer and have all paperwork properly signed.
*Operate a Moffett forklift (piggy-back forklift)
*Labor- pitch in at the shop when needed
*Make local deliveries - overnight trips are once in a blue moon
Requirements:
*Must have a valid CDL B License
*Must have forklift experience
*Must be able to work Monday-Friday with hours between 5AM-5PM, with rare weekends included, and occasional overnight deliveries. Majority of deliveries are in Georgia with the occasional Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina trip.
*Must be ok with a labor intensive position- this will require you to do manual labor in the shop if needed
This position is a Direct Hire position
Pay: $16-$28/hr DOE
