PrideStaff is looking for a CNC Operator doing the following
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
It is not required but preferred that someone in this position have a High School Diploma or GED certificate. It is not required but preferred that this person have a minimum of 3year experience as a CNC operator.
Licenses & Certificates:
If operating a forklift, must have certifications on file with the office /supervisor in order to operate the forklift
Shift: 730am - 4pm must be flexible and be able to work the second shift 330pm - 12pm
Pay $15.00 - $19.00
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setup and program Multi Axis CNC Vertical Mill and CNC Lathe.
- Work with the Programming to provide crucial input on quoting and setup for manufacturing.
- Understands the differences and know how to machine materials: stainless steel, steel, aluminum, plastics, copper, and brass.
- Well organized and strong verbal communication skills
- Flexible, ability to work in a fast pace constantly changing environment with long hours and tight deadlines
- Escalates functional and process failures to the appropriate support groups and leaders
- QC all necessary parts
- Manage work station with safety, quality and efficiency
- Ability to work in a team environment with positive energy and attitude
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly motivated and ability to learn quickly
- Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel experience
- Poise when confronted with sudden setbacks or stressful situations
- Willingness to operate in a dynamic environment and team structure
- Ability to perform physical work for extended periods of time
- Use of complex tooling that requires specialized training
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment
