About this job
Database Developer/Operation Support for corporate office located in the Irvine CA area.
This is a Temporary project estimated to go 2-3 months, pay $30-40/hour depending on experience. Full-time hours; start/stop times may flex depending on need.

Responsibilities:
1. SQL Server development in T-SQL, stored procedures, SSIS and SSRS.
2. Basic database administration – support database, SQL Server jobs, database backup and basic performance tuning.
3. Handle adhoc requests and deal with ‘fire’ regarding data at all levels.
4. Troubleshoot POS data issues and Sales extract issues for the stores.
5. Support basic data analysis and existing reports for corporate HQ.
6. Routine operation support
7. Perform impact analysis for databases, stored procedures, SSIS and SSRS for migration to AZURE and to new web portal. Take inventory of production objects.
8. Convert and test SSIS packages to project deployment model; Restructure production-only SSIS packages in new solution files.
9. Perform data cleanup.
10. Resolve data issues on the web portals.
11. Document all tasks and progress.
Skills required:
1. 3 years of SQL Server development
2. 3 years of SSIS 2012 and SSRS 2012 – familiar with project deployment and configuration
3. Good troubleshooting skills
4. Data analysis skills
5. Ability to write code for database performance
6. Familiar with best practices in T-SQL, SSIS , SSRS and database administration.
7. Understand the value of documentation and follow through on documenting.
8. Basic SQL Server database administration desired
9. Basic knowledge of relational database modeling desired
10. Working knowledge of PowerShell desired
