  • Bachelors degree (B.A.) and one year of related experience; or two to four years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

The Business Analyst I conducts needs assessments for minor enhancements and production support issues.  Works with the business staff and managers to identify these issues and their priority and with IT technical resources to define the solution.

 

E

  • Drafts and/or reviews user documentation for applications and processes for large and complex projects. This includes Project Requests and Briefs for the Project Evaluation Board. 

 

  • Performs analysis to identify/verify production application issues and to determine solutions for production application issues and manages project plans.

 

  • Works on solution execution, organizes, documents, and/or support actions required in response to the clients or teams needs.

 

  • Assists with identifying and documenting Functional Requirements, conducting requirements gathering sessions with the product manager.

 

  • Performs ongoing auditing to validate process successes and define requirements for needed enhancements to applications.

 

  • Assists with drafting project requests and creating ROI analyses for projects.

 

  • Works with clients to document and relay their needs to the team.

 

  • Supports the business client as a train the trainer resource and provides one-on-one training in application use and process flow.

 

  • Assists with creating and distributing Weekly Project Statuses, organizing and conducting Weekly Project Meetings and tracking schedules, issues, and tasks on a project.

 

  • Update SOX process documentation quarterly as required, complete quarterly SPOQ questionnaires as required and perform/monitor required SOX controls as described in Tutor documentation.
