Maintenance Supervisor

Under the direction of the Emergency Shelter Director or other appropriate Leadership staff, is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment for the Off-Site facilities and main campus. Responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems. Performs the work of employees and other duties as required.  This position is also responsible for completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts; and supervising staff.   The most successful candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and experienceworking with at-risk individuals and groups. Some college or trade school is a plus.  You should have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in building maintenance and custodial.  Strong work ethics; demonstrated success in general building repairs; successful experience in maintaining a safe building environment; demonstrated ability to work effectively with volunteers and in a team and demonstrated supervisory skills is a plus.
