We are seeking a professional individual to add to our team in Bern as "Finance Intern" The Analyst Intern will report into the European Central Finance Function and will be based out of Bern, Switzerland. We are looking for an analyst to assist in any one of the following three key finance functions: Core Finance Controlling Analytics A snapshot of what each one of these roles would encompass is provided below: As a Core Financial Analyst Intern you will: Manage the monthend process to close the financial books, including accruals, forecast submission and working closely with the regional businesses Manage business headcount requests and forecasting Prepare and report the monthly expense & headcount variance analysis Work closely with the EU controlling team; ideating and supporting process improvements to increase the efficiency across all areas of submission, tracking and reporting Ad Hoc reporting to assist the management As a Controlling Analyst Intern you will: Assist the controllers and accountants in preparing & analysing monthly financial activities, monthend close processes and creating readouts, while making recommendations for improvements Prepare and analyse specific accounting related statements, reports and assist in the preparation of internal & external financial statements Support the controlling team in selected projects such as compliance, outsourcing, balance sheet reviews and enhance cross functional collaboration As a Business Analyst Intern you will: Run specific analyses supporting the short term business needs leveraging data and information from a wide range of complex data warehouses within the company Analyse long term trends providing actionable levers to the business aiding critical decision making Work closely with the analytics community across the organization in order to create meaningful and automated reporting for various key parts of the business eBay is a Subsidiary of eBay.
