Commercial Door installation company is looking for a low voltage/door installer to join their team. The company handles a wide range of services which include, door installation (framing and hanging), repairing previously installed doors (locks, frames, hinges), installing ADA approved doors, inspecting ADA doors, installing security locks, or badge entry, locksmith.
They really like an individual that is mechanically inclined and has a background in general construction. They will be traveling to commercial sites and installing the metal framed doors. Some of their bigger clients are schools, hospitals, and retail schools. This individual will need to be able to read blue prints and have the ability to use hand tools and power tools. Really looking for someone with some low voltage experience in their background. They need someone to assist some of the low voltage work on the job sites. Will be doing the badge entry, the key pads etc.
Must Haves:
- 1-2 years of of previous construction/carpentry experience OR 1-2 years of basic mechanical assembly
- High School diploma or GED
- Clean driving record - has to pass a MVR
- 1-2 years of experience working with hand tools and power tools
- 6+ months of Low voltage experience
NICE TO HAVE:
- 1 + years of experience with Low voltage wiring
- 1+ years of metal framed door installation
- Ability to read blue prints
