About this job

electrical-3 phase AC power circuits (270V-480V), troubleshooting, installing, low voltage systems. how to read and use equipment, control/process logic diagrams.

mechanical inclination, welding, fabrication, plumbing, electrical, minor fabrication.

maintenance skills in upkeep of machinery including CNC mills and lathes, CNC press brake, laser cutting and material handling equipment, robotic arm/robotic welding equipment.

photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensor timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and human machine interfaces.

1.Ability to follow instructions and ask appropriate questions.
2.Ability to suggest improvements to a currently accepted process.
3.Strong mechanical inclination.
4.Understands basic electrical principles.
5.Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
6.Use the Company's maintenance ticket system to document work.
7.Responsible for complying with the regulations governing the identification, storage and disposal of hazardous waste.
8.Regular, predictable attendance is required.
9.Ability to get along and work effectively with others.

Intermediate Skills and Responsibilities
1.Possesses a variety of skills related to the upkeep of company facilities (e.g., welding, plumbing, electrical, minor fabrication).
2.Possesses a variety of skills related to the upkeep of company machinery including CNC mills/lathes, CNC press brakes, laser cutting and material handling systems, and robotic welding equipment (e.g., skills gained through an OEM training course or on-the-job experience).
3.Possesses creative problem solving skills.
4.Schedule and perform regular PM on capital equipment.
5.Effectively troubleshoot problems with equipment.
6.Correspond with equipment manufacturers and parts suppliers when repairs are necessary.

Advanced Skills and Responsibilities
1.Knowledge and ability to perform machinery repairs normally performed by OEM service personal.
2.Ability to build, document, and integrate custom controllers with existing company machinery.
3.Ability to integrate custom devices and sensors with existing company machinery.
