Welder/Fitter

Performing welding/fitting using flux core dual shield, on H/D steel (anywhere from 1/4inch to 3 inches thick). Candidates must have experience (at least 2 years) performing there own fitting using blueprints, and welding.

Jewell Attachments makes attachments for logging & mining machines, IE :grapplers, claws, clamps, diggers, etc.

Job Description: Performing welding/fitting using flux core dual shield, on H/D steel (anywhere from 1/4inch to 3 inches thick). Candidates must have experience (at least 2 years) performing there own fitting using blueprints, and welding.

This company makes attachments for logging & mining machines, IE :grapplers, claws, clamps, diggers, etc. Work Environment: Heavy industrial enviornment. Temperature matches the weather outside.
Large machines/equipment being assembled, so many over head cranes, forklifts and loud. Qualifications: -MIG welding with 1/16+ wire
-Experience using 1/16
-Experience using CO2/Argon mix shielding gas
-Experience doing multiple stacked passes or "stringers" to achieve desired weld size
-Experience running continuous passes in this welding process / wire size around rounded objects
-Experience reading blueprints and weld symbols
