Job Description:
- Will be responsible for building fixtures, displays, counters etc. for various retailers and stores including
- Will need to read drawings and understand dimensions.
- Must have a great attention to detail and care for quality as these displays and fixtures will be in storerooms for these companies and quality is extremely important to driving their business.
- Will be using the computer to open folder in windows (preset programs) select the program and quantity of parts.
- Will manually load materials into the machine, then the machine cuts the boards, then will unload parts from machine
- May have to change out tooling (routers or drill bits) and use a tape measure or caliper to measure the parts.
- Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/64th of an inch
Qualifications:
- Must have hand/ power tools experience,
- Must have Machine Operator, light carpentry/ assembly, and wood working experience.
- Must be attentive to detail and have production or manufacturing experience--or carpentry experience.
