Associate Buyer

Responsible for managing material availability in support of Aftermarket. Independent business decisions that demonstrate financial leadership. Support on-time delivery of service parts. This position will support Aftermarket and NPD (New Product Development) projects to have inventory on hand to support customer and project demand.

1. Manage on-time delivery performance of the supply base by resolving constraints whether they exist at the supplier.
2. Follow up and expediting as required to ensure on-time delivery.
3. Communicate issues with purchase orders / deliveries that will potentially effect fill rate / readiness to Aftermarket buyers.
4. Be the primary day-to-day contact person with the supply base on the delivery expectations of all purchased parts
