Material Handler/Blender

Candidate will be working for an Oil Company, helping the Master Blender with the blending of their products, helping with Shipping and Receiving and unloading the Tanker Trucks by hooking up hoses/pumps to fill oil drums.

Pay: starting at $14/hour (Full time), 6 month Contract to Direct Opportunity.

Shift: 1st/2nd Shift openings 1st shift starts at 8am, 2nd shift starts at noon.

Location: Pontiac

Qualifications:

• Good Job Tenure
• Manufacturing or chemical based experience
• Hi lo/Forklift experience
• Flexibility with the schedule (ability to come in early or leave later)

Job Description:

• The candidate will be working in production helping produce final products from the blended lubricants. They will be responsible for keeping daily logs, and production sheets; as well as moving finished goods around for outbound shipments.

• The candidate will be helping the shipping and receiving department labeling and staging material for shipments. Also, helping to loading and unloading the vehicles.

• They will be responsible for the labeling, packaging and fulfillment of orders for customers as the product is being manufactured.

• There are several different types of volume that the product comes in such as 'pales' and "drums." They will be pouring the drums into the blenders and will be responsible for making sure the product is filled to the correct volume; then labeled correctly. After all the product has been staged they will move pallets of orders or "drums" of material for shipment. The Master blender then operates the machine to begin the mixing process.

• Bringing samples of raw and finished product to the lab to be tested for quality.
