About this job

Job Description:

Performs various electrical and Mechanical assembly tasks, precision assembly and adjustments of standard and modified parts; plans layout and modifies materials as required from drawings and verbal instructions and installs and repairs mechanical equipment on plant premises.

Essential Functions:
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Plans, layout, cuts, drills, and taps electrical components, and panels
- Assembles and solders cables
- Prepares and installs wire troughs, cables, receptacles, and sensing devices
- Uses electrical drawings and/or documentation to do point to point checks on post-press equipment
- Completes voltage checks and setups of electronic equipment
- Reads and interprets layout information on electrical drawings

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to identify various electrical components
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Tool familiarity (power and hand tools; including drills, saws, soldering iron,
and MultiMeters)
- Understanding of basic wiring practice theory
- Must be able to read and interpret elementary wiring drawing conventions
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, and use hands to handle or feel
- Occasionally required to sit, and reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel
- Must have manual dexterity for installing intricate wire assemblies
- Occasionally lifts and moves up to 50 lbs
Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to airborne particles
- The noise level is usually minimal

Pay:

$20-25/hr Based on Experience

Schedule:

Mom- Fri 6:30am- 3:30pm
