About this job
The Service Technician will be responsible for...
- Running diagnostic testing on returned/failed products.
- Conduct root cause analysis on whole systems to determine whether the issue is software or hardware related.
- Part of testing will consist of running software diagnostics on the product, then disassembling the product to determine if faulty hardware is causing an issue.
- Expected repairs to hardware will be very entry-level such as replacing a circuit. If any the hardware problem is more complex, the product will get passed to another Technician.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree
- Comfortable working within Microsoft Excel (using formula functions, creating new spreadsheets and tables, etc.)
- Comfortable downloading software onto a computer
- Willingness to learn!
