Job Title: Bilingual Call Center Representative

Hours: First Shift

Pay: $14.00-$14.75/hour

Location: St. Paul, MN

Position: 6 months contract to hire

Start Date: 3/26

Work Environment:

  • They will be working in a call center environment and will be taking inbound calls with a team of operators

Qualifications:

  • 1 year Customer Service
  • Spanish Bilingual

Job description:

  • Scheduling Operator (Bilingual Spanish/English)
  • Scheduling Operators help coordinate patients schedules in accordance with Provider and Clinic Hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Seeks to understand and meet the needs of customers (patients, families, vendors, coworkers) through respectful, courteous and culturally sensitive interactions.
  1. Actively participates and works positively, flexibly and cooperatively in a patient care team within and across departments to accomplish the goals of the organization.
  1. Demonstrates effective, culturally sensitive communication skills and effectively communicates verbally and in writing with patients, coworkers, and the public.
  2. Knows, understands and adheres to organizational policy related to the patient's rights for confidential care.
  1. Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
  1. Schedule appointments per scheduling policies/procedures.
  1. Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into organization's EMR.
  2. Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization
  1. Act as a liaison for the patients and the organization by directly calls appropriately and using sound judgment in handling calls, especially with upset patients.
  1. Understanding of when to escalate calls to a supervisor or triage nurse.
  1. Make calls to reschedule appointments when necessary.
  2. Provide assistance with mailings and other projects as call volume permits.
  1. Other reasonably related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
