Laboratory Technician

Hiring Lab Technicians to work on-site at a premier environmental testing company. Lab Technicians will conduct various methods of testing in a laboratory setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Open to working full time
• Strong literacy abilities and experience in a laboratory setting.
• Bachelors of Biology or Chemistry is preferred.
• Must have an Associate's degree.

POSITION DETAILS

• Analyzing or preparing samples in an efficient and organized manner.
• Preparing reagents and standards.
• Keeping logbooks up-to-date.
• Keeping the laboratory clean and safe (must have knowledge of safety rules).
• Performing routine maintenance of equipment and instrumentation, including troubleshooting.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• Location : Deland, FL
• Start Date : February 2018
• Shift/Hours : Three shifts open, First, Second, and Third. Mainly second shift open. Sun-Thursday 2pm-10:30pm - working hours on second. You would train on first shift, Monday - Friday 8-5
• Starting Pay: $13-15
