About the position:
* Located in Northville, MI
* Monday-Friday from 8am- 4pm with some OT
* This person is going to be in charge of mixing, filling the drums and taking samples to the lab to help the chemists with preliminary testing's (ph, titrations, etc.).
* The company is a renewable and alternative energy company who manufactures and supplies the chemicals (electrolyte) that battery companies use to make their batteries.

Job Description:
* Two days per week: Candidates will be responsible for performing external drum cleaning. This process will consist of removing labels and changing the fittings. Throughout this process, they will be using a razor scraper to remove the labels, cleaner to remove as much adhesive as possible. This is the most monotonous part of this position. They must take care not to scratch exterior surface of the drum when removing the labels.
* Three days per week: Following the label removal process, they will be rolling the drums to the filling area. They are going to have to make sure that the chemicals are pre-blended appropriately per each recipe per customer. Once the drums are filled (using an automatic filler), they will then get prepared to be shipped. Depending on the customer specifications, they will be collecting samples and taking them back in the lab to do preliminary testing with the chemist (pH, titrations, etc.) to make sure that the recipe is still in line with the customers specs. There is also batch work in the secondary lab that they may assist the chemist with, but that is only 1x per week.
