Service Technician

Do you have mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience? Are you looking for a well established company where safety and a clean working environment are a priority? Our client is looking to add another person to their growing team. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity in Gibsonia starting at $18 - $22 per hour.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems on commercial turf equipment
• Interpret and utilize hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Diagnose and repair reel and rotor cutting units on turf equipment
• Complete equipment setups and repairs efficiently and correctly
• Inform Service Manager of any problems or issues with equipment or repairs
• Maintain accurate time records of work completed for each job
• Maintain a neat, functional work area and contributing to the orderly, professional appearance of the shop area inside and outside the facility
• Read and understand instructions, service updates, maintenance schedules and other technical literature
• Complete technical training and pursue career growth

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience diagnosing and repairing engines/equipment
• Experience using electrical/hydraulic test equipment, air compression tools, welding and flame cutting equipment, micrometers and calipers
• Motivated self-starter
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
