As a Cheesecake Data Analytics Intern you will play an integral part in supporting our Kitchen Operations, Culinary R&D, and IT Departments by assisting with ongoing projects and responsibilities that relate to your future career. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of how these departments function by interacting with all team members cross functionally between departments.
Performing analysis and research, you will assist other by creating insight from business data. Reporting to the Manager of Kitchen Operations and Culinary R&D, you will work with a up to 30 staff members at our Corporate Support Center located in Calabasas Hills, CA and support the functions of a global $2.3 billion publicly traded company with over 200 full service restaurants and more than 38,000 staff members.

- Data Mining: Analyze, identify and assess data attributes using algorithms and regressions.
- Perform strategic data analysis and research to support business needs.
- Explore data by running SQL queries and identify opportunities to improve business results.
- Document & present insights after analysis and provide recommendations.
- Participate in research, prototypes and proofs of concepts as necessary.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a MS or MBA program at an accredited post-secondary educational institution
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of statistics, databases and data mining
- Knowledge of Databases and Structure Query Language (SQL)
- Highly analytical and research minded
- Specialization in Analytics, Data Science, or Statistics
- Knowledge of Statistical Software (SAS Enterprise Miner, SPSS, MicroStrategy Functions etc.)
