OPENING HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER ROLE – Hyatt Place Jacksonville / St. Johns Town Center

The Hotel -
This new property will be located at The Strand at St. Johns Town Center, a new 45-acre, mixed-use development with retail, restaurants and apartment homes. Hyatt Place Jacksonville will feature a five-story design with 160 guest rooms; the Gallery, complete with 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space; an outdoor pool and fitness center; and an outdoor deck for social and private events. Expected opening date will be late Fall 2018.

The Ideal Candidate for this Position
The ideal candidate is an individual with an established and consistent track record of high performance in RevPAR index, margin and guest satisfaction improvement. They will thrive in an environment of autonomy where they will run the hotel as if it is their own business.
Requirements
• Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
• Requires a minimum of 5-10 year(s) of supervisory experience.
• Must have boutique/independent or similar brand experience.
• Must be able to lead Revenue and Sales disciplines.

Technical Requirements:
• Track record improving market leading properties.
• Track record improving yield and building volume.
• Consistently exceed revenue and guest expectations.

Leadership Requirements:
• Ability to manage change effectively.
• Provide leadership to position the property to achieve the mission.
• Provide leadership to the departments to achieve their goals and objectives.
