Retail Store Manager

We are an independent high-end Men's and Women's Fashion Luxury boutique. Unlike most corporate sales positions, our Sales Associates (or "Professional Stylists") and Sales Managers care about fashion, are motivated, hungry and competitive, looking to exceed and take advantage of their sales and commission potential, career-minded and looking to grow with the company.

We are looking for experienced sales associates for our new High End Men clothing store Valiant Paris by Jean Philippe.

Job Description:

As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for the management and leadership of one of our stores. Overseeing and driving daily sales performance; maintain service and operational standards; supervising, coaching, counseling and training staff on sales program; ensuring adequate staffing; providing superior customer service; maintaining store facilities; ensuring safety and security for guests and staff; preparing cash reports and merchandise orders; and other similar duties pertaining to the management of a retail store.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all alteration workroom policies and procedures.
• Ability to utilize expertise to make alterations decisions during customer fittings.
• Plans and directs the day-to-day sales operations of the boutique.
• Build a superior customer-focused sales team by providing training, selling skills, behaviors, and operational procedure
• Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.
• Ensures all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
• Help deliver on-going coaching and counseling, and effectively managing performance and corrective action processes
• Perform additional job duties/responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of experience as a retail Manager
• 4+ years’ work experience in retail sales with background in Luxury Boutique management
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead/direct, coach and train others in a retail setting
• Ability to work flexible shifts on days, nights, holidays and weekends according to the needs of the business
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• Ability to converse, read and write in English
