Fuel Pricing Analyst (Fort Worth, TX) - Full-time / Part-time

Position Summary

Reporting to the Pricing Director, the Pricing Analyst is responsible for price notification publishing, entering prices into DM2 and Sap, and performing ongoing audits and maintenance to ensure accuracy. The objective of the position is to ensure that every agreed-upon price is profitable, well documented, and carries through to every customer invoice.

Duties & Responsibilites

• Prepare and distribute daily internal and external price notification letters
• Responds promptly to requests from internal customers for pricing setup requests
• Provides excellent customer service in responding to pricing requests, as well as requests for reports and other information
• Effectively communicates and publishes any pricing information that is needed by other parties
• General maintenance of applicable costing and pricing files, databases, and related software tools
• Follows appropriate pricing guidelines and uses analytical approach to ensure that prices are profitable for the given customer and operating characteristics
• Develops and maintains strong and effective working relationships with all key contacts in Operations and Sales
• Addresses or escalates any issues related to upstream and downstream groups not following processes that are critical to efficient and accurate pricing administration; is persistent in follow-up
• Work with Procurement, Sales, Operations, Information Technology, and Accounting to help analyze and improve costing and pricing strategies, data services, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless Customer service
• Participation in any other related task or activity which management determines his/her skills would be useful or needed

Typical Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree
• 2-4 years experience in a position that requires timely and accurate data administration, preferably in a pricing environment.
• Chemical & Lubricant pricing experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external customer service
• Quick learner (adapt at picking up new processes quickly)
• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Software, including advanced reporting techniques
• Experience with Excel
• Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Environmental Requirements

• This position requires working in an office setting, long periods of time sitting
• Must be able to stand, bend, push and pull at least up to 10 lbs
