About this job

The position of Server is dedicated to exceeding expectations of both internal and external guests to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided. Teamwork is the key to success in providing a warm and personal experience. The Servers role will be to provide excellent guest service with the support of the Assistant Server and the Food Server. The Server will ensure the proper set up of the station and work areas assigned and the smooth serving of food and beverage to all of his/her guests.The Server will also offer support to all other colleagues in the restaurant, a team of professionals with a passion for food and beverage.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of the basic functions of food operations. Knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages. Working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation. Ability to perform basic math skills. Ability to handle money and make correct change. Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, and other instructions. Comprehension of POS system

Additional opportunity for Marketing and Event Coordinator to supplement the part time serving position.  The Event Planner will be responsible for assisting with the development of our local marketing strategy and planning successful winery and restaurant events that advance the recognition of the company and the brand. The successful candidate will also be charged with discovering new opportunities within the community to establish a stronger bond with our target audience and increase local market share.  Social Media experience, Excel and excellent communication and multi tasking skills required.  Monday to Thursdays, 24 hours per week (Flexible Mothers hours!
