We are looking for a highly-motivated Room Attendant to join our team at The Mayfair in Los Angeles. About the Mayfair:   

Did you know that the Mayfair Hotel hosted the very first Oscar after Party?  Be part of history!  This hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, that will not only transform the hotel, but will remake an entire neighborhood.  Built during a period of opulence in the Roaring 20's, The Mayfair will emerge in 2016 as a marquis property in downtown LA with 300+ rooms and unique meeting and event space including a roof top pool.  Imagine the views of downtown from that space! 

An understanding of the need to adhere to the highest standards of housekeeping as well as the ability to work quickly with an attention to detail and efficiency are key to this position. In addition, operational focus will include working with the Housekeeping Supervisor, Manager and all members of the Housekeeping Department as well as the Maintenance team and all other members of the hotel staff to deliver flawless service to one another and our guests. 

Formal Education and Job Related Requirements 

Our preference would be that the candidate will possess prior cleaning experience including at least 6 months’ employment experience in hospitality. Must possess effective communications skills. 

Job-Related Physical Requirements 

This position requires the employee to engage in Constant Standing, Bending Over, Crawling, Crouching, Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Lifting/Carrying up to 25lbs, Manual Dexterity, Gross Motor Skills, Eye Hand Coordination, Near Vision, and Hearing. 

In addition, the position requires the employee to engage in Frequent Walking, Lifting/Carrying 26-70lbs, and Far Vision. 

Further, the position requires Occasional Sitting, Balancing, and Color Recognition. 

The position involves the following Environmental Factors:  Working Outside, Working Inside, Working Alone, Working Closely with Others, Working Above Ground, Working with Chemicals/Detergents/Cleaners, Walking on Uneven Surfaces, and Climbing on Scaffolds or Ladders.
