Public Storage is expanding our business to Third Party Management and seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analysis and support to the newly created line of business. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide planning and control information by assembling and analyzing financial data, providing forecasts, explaining processes and techniques and providing analysis of results against targets.
  • Leads the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development and analysis of operating budgets. 
  • Perform financial analysis of yield for properties to show accurate income, expenses, lease-up and proper return as an end result.
  • Ensure packages incorporate correct demographic, rental rates, income & expense projections, etc.
  • Assist in the integration of new facilities into the various Public Storage platforms
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting and summarizing information and results. Develop ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Oversee and performing ongoing analysis and monitoring of significant third party activities and performance.
  • Develops tools and analytics to perform various types of financial analysis. 
  • Provides variance analysis of budget vs. actual results for assigned areas, providing explanations of the causes of any variances. 
  • Experience delivering Quarterly business reviews to management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of related experience in real estate; Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Exceptional presentation and analytical skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and good attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Access), with exceptional spreadsheet skills 
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
